When two people decide to fly halfway across the world for their elopement, you know it is going to be something truly special. And wow, this one absolutely was…….
S&L came all the way from Canada to the breathtaking Dolomites in northern Italy to celebrate their love in the most adventurous and intimate way. They booked a luxurious hotel tucked away in the mountains and that is where the magic started. The getting ready took place in the early morning and you could feel the excitement from the very first moment. They were both beaming and full of anticipation for the day ahead.
After getting dressed, the couple shared a quiet and emotional first look in a small alley within the hotel. It was one of those moments that felt like time stood still. From there, the real adventure began.
Instead of taking a scenic drive or a simple hike, S&L had something far more exciting planned. They boarded a helicopter and were flown not to just one but two stunning locations in the heart of the mountains. And even though we have explored the Dolomites more times than we can count, we are always completely blown away by the incredible scenery. It is like nature puts on a new show every time.
At the first spot, surrounded by dramatic peaks and soft mountain breeze, S&L exchanged their vows. It was quiet, emotional, and honestly picture perfect. The kind of moment that makes you forget everything else.
Before heading to the second location, it was time to refuel. And what better way than with a cozy picnic in the middle of the mountains. Think fresh air, beautiful views, and a blanket spread with delicious food. It was the kind of peaceful pause that made the whole day feel even more special.
Then came the second landing spot. And just when you thought the views could not get any better, they did. S&L toasted with champagne, laughed, hugged, and took it all in. It was freedom and joy and love all at once.
Back at the hotel, the celebration continued. Before taking a little break to rest and refresh (a big plus of our full-day package), they cut their cake and enjoyed a sweet treat together. Their faces lit up with pure happiness.
In the early evening, we met again to explore the charming village nearby. We wandered through quiet little streets and beautiful orchards, soaking up the soft golden light. It was the perfect way to wind down an unforgettable day.
S&L ended their adventure with a romantic dinner just for the two of them. It was private, peaceful, and full of love. Everything a summer elopement in the Dolomites should be.
This day reminded us once again why we do what we do. Helping couples live out their wildest dreams and capturing moments like these will never get old.
