Helicopter Elopement in the Dolomites

An Elopement allows you to centre your day around values that you as a couple truly resonate with. There are no boundaries and just like on this beautiful winter elopement with Charlene & Julian the sky is literally the limit.

Charlene & Julian told no one what they were actually planning in the Dolomites. Their friends and family thought that this is just a vacation the two of them had planned and did not suspect anything. They booked a stunning chalet at the Amus Chalets for a week and decided to get married just a few days after Christmas.

On the day of their elopement we arrived at the Amus Chalets and were very instantly greeted with a very warm welcome and so much hospitality. Charlene and Julian were super relaxed and so so excited for their day. The weather was perfect and everything seemed ready for their big adventure. They decided to get ready separately and have a fist look at a beautiful alpine lake nearby.

We always love it when couples take their time during getting ready as we think those little moments before the day really starts are very precious. Charlene and Julian copied their vows from their phones into their vow books and Charlene had her make up and hair done by Melanie while Julian was walking their dog (who had no clue why everyone was so excited).

After a short drive to the lake they shared a private first look and we took the first couple photos of them. Julian was so relieved to finally have Charlene by his side as he admitted he was starting get nervous and excited to see her. After a quick pit stop at the Chalet we headed of to their big highlight of the day. Because Charlene and Julian didn’t want a normal ceremony and just exchange their vows, they wanted something spectacular that they could take with them and keep in their memories forever.

That’s why they booked a helicopter tour and together with Alrun who held a beautiful commitment ceremony for them we flew off over the mountains and after 20 minutes landed at the perfect spot for their ceremony. High up, with no one else around them, they exchanged their personal vows, popped some champagne, and celebrated their epic adventure together.

Back home they had a private dinner and enjoyed the Alpenglow from their Chalet.

If you ever wondered if it is possible to have a winter elopement, this should show you that it absolutely is. Winter Elopements in the mountains are always something very special and Charlene & Julian made it even more special for us.
